jantar mantar

the world's largest stone sundial, and accurate up to two seconds. this was, by far, tyler's favourite place to be in india. our driver dropped us off and said we'll probably need about thirty minutes. three hours (or more…) later, we emerged with several rolls of film taken (and i couldn't help but whistle a happy tune…anyone?).

a mixture of hindu and muslim science came together to make some extraordinary, gigantic pieces that can tell time, locate constellations, and reveal several different calendars. jantar mantra blew our minds. here are the pictures.

love,
r&y
